Apollo Saturn V - Beautiful building manual and packaging !


I've finally opened the Apollo Saturn V box this afternoon. I have to say that the design of the box is extraordinary and the box is not the only thing that is cool about this set. :-)
LEGO Ideas sets are just somehow special when we talk about packaging.

There are 12 packages, from small to bigger ones. White, black, grey and red are colours that dominate the set.

When I unbox new LEGO sets, I always look forward the most to the building manual. Especially in case of LEGO Ideas theme.

I appreciate first pages of the booklet that are devoted to the introduction into the Apollo Space Program and the Saturn V space rocket itself.

I will definitely read everything before I start the build. Photos from the past times make me feel even more tempted to start building and learn more about this beautiful rocket.
On first pages of the booklet, you will also learn about the authors of the project and about challenges that they had to face while designing the set.

There is no reason to wait ! Since I haven't build any LEGO for some time, this afternoon I will start putting together the Saturn V and I am sure that I will have a very good time with this cool set.

Is it a good step for LEGO to move from traditional toys to computer controlled robots ?


Is it a good step for LEGO to move from traditional toys to computer controlled robots ? I think that it definitely is and it adds a new dimension to the playing experience of LEGO fans. Personally, I can't wait to build my first moving cat from LEGO. :-) And you ?
I had a chance to visit the Spielwarenmesse 2017 in Nurnberg, the biggest toy fair, which is said to be a place where international toy markets come together.
Is it a good step for LEGO to move from traditional toys to computer controlled robots ?
LEGO had their booth in there as well, of course.

I didn't know what to expect from it as it was the first time when I visited such a big toy fair. Frankly, the guided tour around LEGO booth was so quick that if you asked me the other day on one thing that I remember, it would be the CAT, the moving cat. :-)
In other words, thank you, LEGO, for being so innovative and creative this year and coming with brand new ideas such as the LEGO Boost.
I will definitely support your great idea and will buy the LEGO Boots set as soon as it is available for sale for Czech Republic! :-)

The FROG - Star of the new Carousel !


Jump, Jump, Jump, ... :-) You think that you've already seen the frog somewhere ? This beautiful green creature stars in the new LEGO Carousel 10257 and definitely deserves our attention.
Usually being a frog do not make you a glory but in this case she outshone other five animals - an elephant, tiger, swan and a flamingo ! :-)
She's made out of 63 pieces, mostly a combination of light and dark green.

  She has a movable mouth with a red tongue always prepared to provide her with a good lunch.

Her legs are incredible ! I'm sure that she might compete with real frogs in jumping.

Thanks to a few LEGO Technic pieces, her legs very well imitate real frog's legs.
