My ranking of The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigure Series
Enjoy the photo gallery of The LEGO Batman Movie 20 collectible minifigures and my ranking of those characters. I have ranked them according to my like-ability before seeing the movie. But I had to make a few minor adjustments to my ranking after seeing the movie. It might seems odd that after watching the movie I value some minifigures higher or lower than before seeing the movie ... but for example I had to move up the Joker in my ranking because it was so cool and cute character in The LEGO Batman Movie that deserves a higher place in my ranking. :-)

This time I used no quantitative tools to rank the minifigures as in case of
My Ranking of Minifigures Series 15. I fully relied on my emotions. :-)
Here we have the hero of the movie - Batman, Batman, Batman, Batman and again Batman !!! :-) Those who have already seen the movie know that Batman loves costumes.

There is a new "Batman Family". Unfortunately lacking Alfred who is not one of the 20 minifigures chosen for the collectible series, that is a shame.

That's so funny to see Batman in the children swimming ring with a duck's head. This one was my favourite from the first time I saw the leaflet with all 20 minifigures.

I like the silver bat detail on the Batman's headpiece, spikes on top of each shoulder and the overall Kiss band look. :-) Moreover, I like the most this Batman's facial expression compared to other Batman's it is so different.

I had him originally on the 10th place before seeing the movie ... But I have changed my mind immediately after seeing the movie and I am sure that he deserves to be in the top three. Little yellow tooth popping out from his mouth makes him look so cute as in a few scenes in the movie.

Zodiac Master made me quite cold when I saw him for the first time on the leaflet but in reality, he quickly became one of my favourites mainly because of his very unique body painting.

LOBSTER LOVIN' BATMAN

I like his dark red robe which goes perfectly with Batman's favourite dish, the red lobster. Before seeing the movie I have tried to make up my own explanation for every Batman's costume in this series. I have to commend that with this one I was quite close to reality - my guess was that Batman enjoys his favourite dish at home after busy day full of chasing his enemy Joker. :-)

This Batman's costume is also pretty cool even though I think that I did not see him even for a while in the movie.

Mime has the most eye catching face and I also like the colour selection for this minifigure which enables it to step out of the line.

I like her hair piece and the pink glasses but I would rank her better if she had more interesting outfit, in particular not being only in pink.

This Batman is something I did not expect to happen at all, very funny. :-) When I was thinking about my own story behind each Batman's costume before seeing the movie, this one was the most difficult. I couldn't come up with anything for a long time but finally I thought that Batman might be kept in captivity by Joker and being dressed like that was his worst nightmare.

Write komentářůI have not yet seen the movie, but I can see how it might affect your rankings. Here are my rankings (I always judge CMFs on how they will add to our town--including if I break up the pieces): #1 Vacation Batman, #2 Glam Metal Batman, #3 Eraser, #4 March Harriet (is she a stripper?), #5 Commissioner Gordon, and bonus #6 Lobster Lovin' Batman.
ReplyThanks for your ranking ! I see that we had exactly the same top three minifigs when I look into my notes from before seeing the movie...;-) In the movie, March Harriet was one of the ordinary Joker villains, not a stripper I guess. Maybe in her free time, who knows. :-)
ReplyMy most favorite and least favorite is exactly the arrangement of your images. Of course the middle-s are not the same in sequence.

Yes, I think that Vacation Batman deserves to be one of the most popular minifigs in this series. :-)
