The Minifig Box Subscription Review
Have I mentioned that I love subscription ? It's quite a long time since I had something subscribed. But it may change soon ... :-) Lately I discovered The Minifig Box subscription on the internet. They have very nice and catchy website -
https://www.minifigbox.com/.
I liked the idea. And The Minifig Box Team was so kind to send me one for review. And then it was very fast ... :-) Last week this box brightened my gloomy autumn day when I found it in my post. :-)

And do you know what I like the most about subscription ? ... I like the waiting, the wondering what's gonna be inside, whether I will find something extra or unexpected ...And trust me that I was very pleasantly surprised by what I found inside The Minifig Box.
Everything arrived neatly packed in a small box with The Minifig Box logo.

When you open it you will find six yellow cards ...

What are the cards used for ?

Each card provides a description of one of the minifigures you will find in the subscription box. As the cards are made out of something more resistant than just a paper - they look very good and will certainly last considerably longer and be more resistant.

Besides the cards, I have, of course, received 6 minifigures. :-)

Clockwork Robot is my utmost favourite ! :-) I will have to hunt the Lady Robot so that he doesn't feel lonely. Iron Skull and Baseball Player are also perfect.

You can see that the variety of figures in the box is pretty wide. I was happy also for the Space Alien.

Steward from the Horizon Express is a very nice addition too. You will hardly find an advert for this one on Ebay.

And the Stitch ? I don't mind that I have him now twice. :-) Disney Minifigure Series will certainly keep its value in future.

The Minifig Box |
Overall, it is a very nice product for every LEGO fan who likes subscription boxes and who wants to widen her Minifig collection.
And how much does it cost ? ... From $19.17 to $24.99 per 1 box per month - the longer the time frame of your subscription, the cheaper the price per box.

Write komentářůThose certainly aren't the worst Minifigs you could randomly get, but that's too much money per month for me, considering I'd have NO control over which ones I get. I don't even like ordering current CMF blind packs without being able to feel them. I've never been a big subscription guy, though.
ReplyYes, you must be a fan of this kind of subscription to accept the fact that you cannot influence what you get for your money. There are only two possibilities at the end ...Either you will be pleasantly surprised for what you got or disappointed. It's a kind of game which I like. :-)
ReplyI think that with this box I was very lucky and I've got a pretty nice mix of characters. :-) I would be even able to sell them for higher price on Ebay (e.g. the Clockwork Robot itself is on Ebay for around $11 what I have seen) ... But it's not my intention, though.
I think that this subscription box is one of the best I've seen around.
Yes, I think you did pretty well with those.
