And The Mystery Set is ...

It's been almost a month since I have shared with you that I have brought two LEGO sets from Kladno, Czech republic back home.

One of them was The Simpsons House. I asked you to guess what was the other one ... :)
Even though I have received great guess, no one actually came up with the correct answer.

The Mystery Set is not just an ordinary set ... There was a lot of excitement for me when I was unboxing it. So many small perfectly designed bricks !!!

And great stickers, too.

Now, I am sure that you already know ...
It can't be anything else but the famous KWIK-E-MART ! :)
Kwik-E-Mart instruction book
Part of the set is a thick 254-page instruction book which has about 20 pages more than the instruction book that belongs to The Simpsons House. Even thought The Simpsons House set has more pieces. I think that the amount of small details in the Kwik-E-Mart set explains this difference.

I can't wait to start building this set together ... :)

Are you also a fan of The Simpsons theme LEGO sets ?

No doubt about your second guess :) Oh yes, I started building the Kwik-E-Mart yesterday night. And I was very surprised how complicated was the police car compared to the Homer's pinky car :) What other interesting sets do you have in your collection, Eric ?

Surprises are good things, so hopefully there are more as you continue building the Kwik-E-Mart!

Some interesting sets in my collection are 5770 Lighthouse Island, 10230 Mini Modulars, 70810 Metalbear's Sea Cow, 21104 Mars Curiousity Rover, and finally Jason Allemann's LEGO kinetic sculpture of Sisyphus. I had to Bricklink the Mars Rover because I missed it when it was available in stores, as well as Sisyphus since it's not an official LEGO set. But I love watching it in motion!

Wow ! Hats off ! Really nice collection you have.
I especially love the Mini Modulars. It must be a great set.
Sisyphus sculpture is new to me. I didn't know that something like this existed. I saw the video and I found it very unique in comparison to official LEGO sets.

If we had space in our house, we would totally have both of these sets! Maybe we'll break down and buy them anyway...

I think that it would be certainly worth it to find space for these two sets in your house ! I feel that there is something mysterious about The Simpsons theme sets because everytime I was building it I discovered a lot of details about which I had no idea :) So surprising sets ! I definitely recommend both. Moreover they look excellent when they are together.
